AMANDA NGOHO REAVEY is a poet and teacher fascinated with the myths we create when the myths we have no longer sustain us.

She is the author of Marilyn (The Operating System), winner of the 2017 Best Book Award in Poetry from the Association for Asian American Studies, and her poems and essays appear in Construction Literary Magazine, Anthropoid, TRUCK, and Evening Will Come, among others. 

Reavey is the founder and managing editor of Tattered Press, a small press publisher, and is the upcoming 2018 Artist-in-Residence at Can Serrat in El Bruc, Spain. She has an MFA in Writing & Poetics from Naropa University.
